Well, for starters, it's riskier because you can easily trip someone who doesn't notice you or your partner's leg sticking out. But between you and your partner, it's more risky because if you don't want to look your partner in the face, or if you're just dancing and not even looking at each other, it's just a little awkward, but that isn't the worst of it. Also, it's a bit trickier because you have to have to have good balance (and the guy has to be able to support your back so you don't fall over backward). Balance is important because since you're sticking your most comfortable leg in between your partner's, you have to make sure that your weight is evenly distributed so you don't topple over. Also, if you have a tendency to put your arms up, make sure you smell good because nobody likes their partner to smell musty. Finally, it's risky because it's risqué; you're grinding pelvis-to-pelvis rather than backside-to-pelvis. Think of it this way: women get pregnant through vaginal sex, not anal sex. So basically, it's more exotic and sexually suggestive. But it's TONS more fun, in my opinion! It allows you to hold each other in a more intimate way, and you can kiss and stuff.
