In about 6 hours less than 1% should remain. After about 12 hours there will be a few nanograms left, and after a day you are mos def able to pass a drug test. It doesn't really get Into the circulatory system if you are worried about them finding out you have Asthma the aerosol will show up much later. And they actually test for the aerosol at most places. Just ask your high school chemistry teacher if your concerned.

It is not a controlled substance so it won't make you fail a drug test. 72% of the drug will be excreted within 24 hours, so in 48 hours you should be albuterol free. the question i have for you is why are you worried about albuterol?i imagine you are going to get a job painting and you are afraid the albuerol will show in a urine analysis?
