They have 8 arms and 2 tentecles.

They have 8 arms that you can see and one extra arm that male cuttlefish have for mating. They use that arm that we don't see to give the female the pouch that has the baby cuttlefish in it and she stores it away.

So 8 arms that we can see+1 extra arm that we don't see= 9 arms in total. (8+1=)

First I need to correct this question. Cuttlefish is spelling C-U-T-T-L-E-F-I-S-H not cuttelfish. The answer to this question is 8 arms that you can see but there is a special arm by the cuttlefishes beak that is only used for mating so pretty much cuttlefish have 9 arms including the special one.
