Countless. Each side had codes they used for common communications, as well as other codes for more classified information. Also, individual countries had their own too. Some codes were even used to fool the enemy, one example of which was D-Day. The allies used a poorly encrypted and easily decipherable code detailing non-existant military plans to trick the Germans.
