The exact number is unknown. But it is believed to be 5, but many think there were more. He was never caught.
The likeliest candidates to have been victims of the Whitechapel murderer are, in order: Annie Millwood, Martha Tabram, Polly Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Kate Eddowes, Mary Kelly, Alice Mackenzie, and Francis Coles.
At least five, although some credit the count as high as twenty-three.
//Here is a list of possible victims:
Fairy Fay 12-26-1887
Annie Millwood 2-25-1888
Ada Wilson 3-28-1888
Emma Smith* 4-3-1888
Martha Tabram 8-7-1888
Whitehall Mystery corpse 10-3-1888
Annie Farmer 11-20-1888
Rose Mylett 12-20-1888
Elizabeth Jackson 6-1889
Alice McKenzie 7-17-1889
Pinchin St. Murder 9-10-1889
Francis Cole 2-13-91
Carrie Brown 4-24-1891

The above victims are in addition to the original five victims known to have been committed by the killer known as Jack The Ripper.
Mary Ann (Polly) Nichols 8-31-1888
Annie Chapmen 9-8-1888
Elizabeth Stride 9-30-1888
Catherine Eddows 9-30-1888
Mary Jane Kelly 11-9-1888
*Emma Smith-Considered by some to be a Ripper victim, Smith differed in that she lived through her attack to describe her attacker(s). Smith claimed to have been attacked by several men, which does not fit the profile of the other victims. Chances are very good Smith was not a Ripper victim.
Jack the Ripper was a serial killer in London who is said to have killed at least 5 people.
There is a group of five, known as the 'canonical five', because most historians have agreed on their identity, and rejected the many other murder victims (mainly, but not all local) that have also been attributed to the Ripper.
Historians also agree that a possible sixth member of the group might be Martha Tabram, murdered a few weeks before the Ripper's first 'canonical' victim.
The murder who has become known as "Jack the Ripper" murdered prostitutes in London's East End during 1888 and possibly later.
Based upon the characteristics of the murders, he killed at least four women, Mary Ann Nicholls, Annie Chapman, Catherine Eddowes and Mary Jane Kelly.
A fifth victim, Elizabeth Stride, is usually also accepted as a Ripper victim. She was murdered the same night as Catherine Eddowes, but the killer was disturbed very soon after her throat was cut, and as such had no opportunity to inflict the mutilations associated with the Ripper.
Martha Tabram, who was murdered on August 6-7 1888 is regarded by many commentators as a likely early victim of the Ripper. While her injuries were not of the same nature as those of the later victims, they are consistent with being an "immature" or experimental crime by the same perpetrator.
There is at least one other earlier crime (Emma Smith), and several later murders (Rose Mylett, Alice McKenzie and Frances Coles) which are occasionally attributed to the Ripper, although there are features of each which suggest that the attribution is unlikely to be correct. There were also the "torso" cases of 1888 and 1889 and various murders which occured in the USA during the 1890's.
The answer to your question is therefore - as few as four, almost certainly five, most likely 6 and possibly as many as a dozen or more.
31 August 1888 Mary Ann Nichols, 31 August 1888 Annie Chapman, 8 Sept. 1888 Elizabeth Stride, 30 Sept. 1888 Catherine Eddowes and 30 Sept. 1888 Mary Jane Kelly.
Until the last few years the above 5 victims have always been thought to be the only victims of the Ripper. Historians and espescially experts in historic crime now believe that the Ripper has killed far more than he was ever giving credit for before. This gave the false impressions that something happened to the killer after the death of Mary Kelly in November of 1888.
Most Ripper experts now believe that the Ripper's crimes began earlier in the year of 1888, maybe March or even June. Some think that there could be one as early as the year of 1887. But this one can not be proved one way or another. It is a well known fact that as a murderer continues his murders, he gets better at killing. His MO can change, his method safter and time-saving. Murderers evolve and grow and learn and get better at what they do, if the do it often enough.
The most common murders associated with the Ripper are from 1888, pre-Nickols, and go to at least 1891. 11 murdered prostitutes are now the most commonly known victims of Jack The Ripper. But the controversy goes on. There were still many murders with the Ripper's same MO that lasted for many years. Some well into the 20th century. There may never be proof for all of his murders, but the FBI has the average kill for a serial killer at 10 victims. (This is average-not absolute)
As far as we know, no one killed Jack the Ripper. It would be hard to determine, since we don't even know who Jack the Ripper actually was.
If you are asking how many people he killed, we believe he killed five, though it could be as few as three or as many as six. Additional possibilities are sometimes thrown in as well.
There has never been a complete list for the fact that there is so much debate as to which victims were actually killed by the killer known as Jack The Ripper. There are several reasons for this. Forensics were nonexistant in Victorian era London. It was sometimes difficult to tell who was a victim of murder, suicide, accident or natural causes. Coupled with the belief that Mary Kelly was the last victim and then the Ripper vanished has muddied the facts pertaining to the case. I have listed 14 victims that are very likely Ripper victims. This may not be a complete list, give or take a few.

A conservative estimate would be 12 to 15 victims. It's possible there were many more.
The Jack the Ripper murders happened in London's East End in 1888 in a period of three months were there was 5 prostitutes were killed.
The Jack the ripper case has never been solved so the culprit was never apprehended. Much of the original evidence gathered at the time has been lost, and many "facts" are actually opinions by the various writers who have written about the case during the past century. The number of the victims remains unclear. The official number is 5 victims but it could be 4 or it could reach 12.
The 5 confirmed deaths but other has been atribituted to him.
on the records it is 5 but some ripperolagists say there were 10
None that we know of. His victims were women.

The Jack the ripper murders as we know, were in 1888. At 5 were attributed to him that year.
Most of the Ripper's murders were found in one small geographical area, about 1 square mile, in London's poverty-stricken east end. But there were other murders outside that area around the time of Jack The Ripper's killings that have not been ruled in or out as Ripper murders.
The files kept by the Metropolitan Police show that the investigation opened in 1888 encompassed eleven murders from 3rd April 1888 to 13th February 1891 and were known as the Whitechapel Murders. Amongst this eleven murders investigated by the police, five are almost universally agreed upon as having been the work of the Ripper. However there were other murders and there is no absolute proof that the Ripper killed only the 5 or even this 5. Numerous authors proffer numerous possibilities of identity for the Ripper and the actual number of murders. So the whole Ripper scenario is just shrouded in mystery - everyone can have their pet theory that cannot be proven or disproven. In fact apart from the fact that there were murders, nothing is known for sure - perhaps 'Jack the Ripper' was a woman?

The six murders generally attributed to Jack the Ripper occurred between 7 August and 9 November 1888.

A series of murders in Whitechapel London during the 1880's
The last of the canonical five murders was Mary Kelly on November 9th, 1888. But some people believe that later murders in Whitechaple were also the work of Jack the Ripper. And others believe that Jack the Ripper left the country and committed murders in the US. We don't know for sure. Soon after Kelly's death, the body of Montagu Druitt was found in the Thames, and a note went round Scotland Yard saying that there would be no more murders now. Assuming Kelly was the last Ripper victim, this would point to Druitt as the serial murderer. As for some other murders in the area in the following year or two, many authors have tried to link these to the Ripper, but most experts are not convinced.
Thomas Bates was a witness that saw the ripper while he was walking from the place of one of his murders.
He didn't. Jack The Ripper's crimes continued long after the murder of Mary Jane Kelly on November 9, 1888. Many believe the Ripper was still killing as late as 1891, and possibly after the turn of the 20th century.
The case was never solved. Everybody loves a mystery so the crimes have achieved an almost mythical quality. Had the murders been solved in the 1880's the Ripper's crimes would barely be remembered. There are actually people that earn their living from these murders. There are several Jack The Ripper walks not to mention the countless books written and many movies made about this fiend. If the killer was revealed their livelyhoods would be compromised. So it seems to work better when he Ripper remains unknown.
Jack the Ripper was never caught and identified so there is no way to know the identity of his comrades. From the crime scenes and nature of the murders it is very unlikely that the Ripper had any help. The majority of serial killers work alone, the Ripper was almost certainly alone in his crimes.
