honestly id say anything between 10-5, but babies can be born fine at 3,

my mother had 10 kids, the heavest was a little over ten and the smallest was me, i think i was only about 4, i dont know what babies are wieghed in, maybe ounces or something like that,, sorry.

but i stopped breathing at an hour old, where as my friend had a baby recently and it was barely 3 ounces or wahtever, and it was perfectly fine :O i suppose it depends on the mother as well as the baby, and how many weeks it was born at. if your worried because you or someone else is having a baby, the doctor should tell you anyway :)

i know it was vague but hope i helped a lil :)

16 Ounces = 1lb - not sure if the same in the US but in the UK babies are now weighted in Grams and Kilograms

Babies are weighed in pounds and ounces because they are very small. It is very important to know exactly what they weigh because they only gain ounces at a time for a few months.
