There is obviously no exact answer for this question as comics vary in page count, paper quality, and stock used for covers. A variant will weigh more than a regular comic because of the thicker card stock usually used for the covers. Fom all my weighing, I'd say that on average comic books weigh between 3 - 5 ounces each.

The average US comic book has between 22 and 24 pages of story with a few additional pages of adverts.

In the UK 2000AD has slightly more but as an anthology it is made up of 4 to 5 different stories each running from 5 to 8 pages in length on average. The Megazine runs to a significantly longer page count both for the strips and the comic in total.

The way comics are published around the world differs dramatically and there is no universal format.

A comic strip doesn't really have a standard size other than the restrictions that are arbitrarily imposed upon the strip by the end publisher such as a website or newspaper . (This was a major point of contention with the newspaper's Sunday editions and Bill Watterson who was the creator of 'Calvin and Hobbes' who felt , and rightly so , that this was an unnecessary restriction imposed upon the artist .)

If you are asking about the physical dimensions of the actual publication, i.e. the manga book itself, Hakusensha has a useful guide (albeit in Japanese but it has diagrams) that explains the different publication sizes commonly used in Japan.

For info, Gintama's 49 volumes of tankoubon (as of 2 May 2013) come in 新書判 'shinshoban', paperback type in the size of approx. 176mm x 112mm
