Does most people go to heaven?

Most people who serve God will live forever on the earth. There are certain ones chosen by God that will live in heaven with him. Psalms 37:29; Isaiah 65: 21, 22; Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4: Revelation 7:3, 4: Revelation 14: 1-4; Luke 12:32;

Had Adam and Eve not sinned, they would have continued to live on the earth. This was God's original purpose for the earth, and it never changed.

Genesis 2:15-17

In the very near future, God will take steps to rid the earth of all of the problems that plague mankind today and conditions will be restored to the way it was when Adam and Eve were put into the Garden of Eden. All of the problems we experience today will be eliminated.

The Bible says that everybody has the chance to go to heaven. There is no set number.

People have the choice to accept or reject God's offer of eternal life.

Rom 3:22 God puts people right through their faith in Jesus Christ. God does this to all who believe in Christ, because there is no difference at all:

Rom 3:23 everyone has sinned and is far away from God's saving presence.

Rom 3:24 But by the free gift of God's grace all are put right with him through Christ Jesus, who sets them free.

Christian's belief:That depends on what kind of Christian you are. Different groups believe different things. The Early Church between the 2nd to the 4th Century believed that ALL people would go to heaven eventually. Even the truly wicked would have to be punished in Hell for a little while before they went to Heaven.

However, in Modern Christianity, the majority of non-Christians will go to Hell for eternity. This was because St. Augustine introduced this belief in the 4th Century, and Christians have been increasingly believing it since then.

Here is a quote from the Early Church Father, Clement of Alexandria who lived 150-220AD. In a nutshell, he believed that Jesus Christ saves ALL - both good and wicked.

"For all things are ordered both universally and in particular by the Lord of the universe, with a view to the salvation of the universe. But needful corrections, by the goodness of the great, overseeing judge, through the attendant angels, through various prior judgments, through the final judgment, compel even those who have become more callous to repent.... So He saves all; but some He converts by penalties, others who follow Him of their own will, and in accordance with the worthiness of His honor, that every knee may be bent to Him of celestial, terrestrial and infernal things (Phil. 2:10), that is angels, men, and souls who before his [Christ's] advent migrated from this mortal life.... For there are partial corrections (paideiai) which are called chastisements (kolasis), which many of us who have been in transgression incur by falling away from the Lord's people. But as children are chastised by their teacher, or their father, so are we by Providence... for good to those who are chastised collectively and individually."

• believe in all God prophets and angels and believe in all God holy books
• believe in the second eternal life and believe in the resurrection day
• believe in God destiny
• maintain good morals
