This works out at just under 12 young persons every day. Overall about 12% of all deaths of young people are believed to be by suicide.
Any young person who feels that they might be tempted to kill themselves should find someone to talk to before taking any action to harm themselves. Talking it out with a compassionate person can help us to understand what's going on for us and to find new ways to cope with what may be troubling us.
