it depends on how old the rabbit is. my bunny is only about 3 1/2 moths old, so i feed him a little less than 1/4 of bunny kibble in the morning and afternoon. i also give him a small handful of timothy hay, also in the morning and afternoon. i hope this answers your question! if not, just go online or to your local library and read up on bunnies!
A pet rabbit's diet should consist of hay, fresh vegetables, and pellets. Timothy hay is the best hay for rabbits and is available at an affordable price at common pet stores like Petsmart of just your local feed store. To prevent illness, your rabbit's hay should be placed in a feeder that keeps it off the floor of the hutch. Your rabbit should be allowed to eat AS MUCH HAY AS IT WANTS. If for any reason you are temporarily out of timothy hay, you can feed your rabbit grass hay or alfalfa and they should do just fine. Another alternative is to put your rabbit outside in an exercise pen (with you supervising it of course) and letting it graze on your grass and dandelions (which rabbits love!). A rabbit should be given about 2 lbs. of veggies per 6 pounds of body weight. Make sure your rabbit is given at least 3 different types of vegetables to prevent digestional inbalance. Rabbits need a lot of Vitamin A and can be given veggies like carrots, carrot tops, parsley, broccoli, spinach, collard/ mustard/ dandelion/ turnip greens, endive, ROMAINE lettuce, kale and spinach. Fruit can be given as treats but really should be avoided because they are so high in sugar. As far as pellets go, there are certain things you have to look for when choosing which ones to feed your rabbit. Your rabbit pellets should be timothy based and contain all of these things: 20-25% fiber, 14% protein, and less than 1% calcium. A 5-7 lb rabbit should be given 1/4 cup, a 8-10 lb rabbit should be given 1/2 cup, and a 11-15 pound rabbit should be given 3/4 cup. I really hope this helps and I wish you the very best of luck with your rabbit!!!
Mother rabbits feed their babies milk. For the mother to be able to do that, you have to feed her a healthy rabbit diet. (See the related question linked below about what to feed a rabbit.) If the mother rabbit isn't eating well or is otherwise unhealthy she will become stressed and may kill her babies.
Once the babies are weaned, they need to have unlimited access to alfalfa hay, high-quality pellets, and fresh water.
At 12 months you can start introducing fresh greens, but only in tiny amounts, and only one at a time (watch for adverse reactions, like gas or diarrhea, for about a week before trying a new green).
Treats, like fruits and sugary veg (like carrot), should be avoided until about 6 months.
At 7 months you should start slowly transitioning them to an adult diet.
Hay is the most important part of a rabbits diet. Rabbits teeth grow constantly but when they chew hay it helps keep their teeth from growing too big. If the teeth don't get worn down naturally then your rabbit will develop dental problems which can be very serious.
You should feed your rabbit unlimited amounts of hay.
You should offer your rabbit a small amount of pellets so that they can get some variety and vitamins. Use a single pellet type if you can rather than a 'mix', since with the mix the rabbit will only eat the bits they like. If you get a single pellet type they will eat all of it.
You can also offer your rabbit small amounts of vegetables, see this page for which ones you can feed.
You give them a little dish of pellets and, a also a little basket of Hay and a medium bowl for Water.
You feed them Hay and some pellets in a dish plus water lol bt serously
maybe one 2 1/2 cup of food a day.
No, it will get indigestion. Rabbit pellets are much better

Yes, but don't feed it so much as they have a high natural sugar content.
just normal rabbit food, only not as much
You can have a relative or friend take care of your rabbit. Some pet stores offer animal boarding services, so they could take care of it. Make sure you write a list of how to care for your rabbit to give to the person who will take care of it. Here are some things you should list: * How much hay to feed it * How many fruits or vegetables each day * What kind of veggies or fruits * How many pellets you feed it * How often to clean the bedding * How often(if needed) they should brush the rabbit * How much bedding to put in * How much exercise the rabbit needs each day * Where you exercise your rabbit

i have a 12.5 pound french lop eared rabbit. He eats about 1 1/3 cup of rabbit feed each night. And a little bit of parsley through the day. You can feed your rabbit a little over a cup every day at the same time, or feed him/her half in the morning and the remaining at night. BUT be sure to stay with the feeding routine. If you feed your rabbit all his/her food at the same time, remember what time you fed your rabbit and feed him/her that same time the next day.
depending on the type of rabbit, they usually cost around 20-60 dollars plus housing and feed expenses
