I need to tell you this so you understand that jewellery stores are not licensed nor are they inspected to provide any form of piercing service, just because they have a piercing gun doesn't make them qualified to provide piercing services to any one. Cross contamination, infection and disinfection skills are not the foremost points for these stores to consider.

They could frankly care less about doing it right, if they did they would be licensed and inspected to protect the public interest and safety. Seriously consider seeing a professional body piercing studio, even for simple ear piercing, it's what we do every day and we do care and are licensed to provide these services as well as inspected to ensure you don't have issues with the piercing or the jewellery. Sure we may charge more than the jewellery store with a piercing gun but aren't you worth the expense? Sure you are.
