Many websites and guinea pig books recommend only offering about 20% of their food dish to treats and other sweet foods. If you feel the amount of apple you are giving her surpasses 20% of her hay pellets, then that is too much! Try giving her things like cucumbers, peppers, nuts, and other things like lettuce--if you want her to have a variety of natural foods. Here is a phenomenal website I've found for further charts of information and nutritional values of various guinea pig foods and general information:

*PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: Some types of lettuces can be lethal for your guinea pig, so check this website for the appropriate types of lettuce to offer your guinea pig!
As Guinea pigs eat mostly ANYTHING you need to give them a decent amount of food.
if you want to change the food then give them there old food and a little bit of the new food, each week give the guinea pigs more of the new food and less of the old food. (then they will get us to the new food more than the previous food!
it pretty much depends to you and you should be able to observe before you know which one is the right amount for my guinea pig i had to experiment for atleast 3 days to make sure that was the right amount for him. so pretty much it depends on your guinea pig and you the owner best wishes to you and your guinea pig!
All you have to do is leave the food in the cage like you do normally. They're like cats, they eat as much as they need to and then stop. They will eat as much as they want and you should let them figure out how much they need. But, if they are getting fat fast then stop feeding them that many treats like veggies and others because that is usually what makes them fat but, if you do stop and they still do not slim down then take the bowl out of the cage at nighttime.
4 times a day! well that's how much my guinea pig eats!
A ginnea pig needs feeding one small handful of dried food and some fresh food like a leek or carrot.
you dont have to mesure it out, just make sure that each day they have atleast half a bowl full

Baby guinea pigs will feed from their mother, and she will feed them at the right time. Older guinea pigs need their food bowl topped up 2-3 times a day. Make sure water bottle is always full.

First of all,you should need at least two Guinea Pigs.Guinea Pigs are social animals. You need unlimited hay to feed them. You need a Good cage that protects the Guinea pig from all kinds of predators. It is highly recommended to put your Guinea Pig inside the house. It will save them from climate changes and infections. It also prevents worms to get inside the Guinea pig's body. You can offer treats to your Guinea pig.Never feed anything that contains hard seed. For example, you should only feed seedless apples.Give them a carrot once in a week. You can give bell pepper(high in Vitamin C) daily. It is very essential for them. This is the most important thing, you should have Guinea Pig pellets to feed them.It is specially made for Guinea pigs and it contains everything that a Guinea Pig needs. So,it is important for them. You also need a water bottle for Guinea pig.You should give fresh water daily to your Guinea pig. You should check them regularly by a vet.Another important thing is that you should give them love, attention and care.
yes, when they become fat there natural diet is lettuce and more greens. But do NOT feed them iceberg lettuce
well, for my guinea pigs i use 'supa guinea' feed (but any good guinea pig food will do) water, in a special bottle which you can get from any pet stores for example pets at home (you can fine guinea pig starter packs there) and you can get vitamin c (which is vital as they cannot produce vitamin c themselves) of course, a cage and bedding, or if they are outside, a hutch with protection from the sun, fresh hay and 1 major rule- NO BALLS! it damages their spines! hope i helped, tuxedo-kitten xxx
