Not much, an Irish 10 pence coin is no longer in circulation since Ireland switched to the Euro, the 1978 date is not particularly rare, I'd say it is worth about 10-25 US cents depending on condition.
There were 27 million of these copper-nickel Irish 10 pence coins minted that first year of the design and it may be worth up to about $1 depending on amount of wear and collector demand. You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
This was a common circulation coin during the period 1971-2002 when Ireland (Eire in Gaelic) used decimal "punts" (Gaelic for pound) as its currency. Assuming the coin is circulated, its value is 1/10 of a punt - quite low, less that a U.S. quarter.
These coins are no longer in circulation since Irelands changeover to the Euro in 2002.
Unless they are part of a Proof or Uncirculated mint set or are individual Proof or Uncirculated coins and in absolute mint condition, they have little or no value.

In reality, not a lot. When Ireland changed over to the euro, most households kept coins as keepsakes, so theirs plenty of them still knocking around. If you took it to the central bank you'd get about €0.12 for it
It would have very little value. 10p and other denominations of those coins were being used until the end of 2001, before the Euro came in at the start of 2002. Many Irish people would have kept some of the old coins, so they are far from being a rare item and of any real value as a collector's item.
It sounds like a 10 pence from Ireland. Value depends on the year and the condition.
Such a coin does not exist.
The Eire (Irish) 10 Pence coin was first issued in 1969.

$ 1050
it is worth I cent to the banks, so spend it and buy a coin book!
It is worth 2 Euro. You would need to get the value or your own currency against the Euro to see what it is worth in your currency. It would not be very much.
Include the coin's denomination and try again.
It's face value, the coin is still in circulation.
If its 1978 then probably 10-20 pound get down there and sell it.
How much it has 2 and small s beside it. It has a salmon on the back and FLOIRIN below the salmon. How much is a 1966 Eire 2s worth?
The coin is a Eisenhower dollar (1971-1978) not a " Liberty Head" dollar. The coin is face value, unless it's proof coin.
