That a gallon a milk is worth about $1.50 or so its not worth a lot
That's an interesting question. They could probably take ballistic fingerprint (firing pin print from shell casings fired from an existing Model 1873 (one that is pre-1876 production SRC 44-40 with it's original firing pin) and compare that to 44-40 shell casings recovered from the battlefield (likely they were fired from 44-40 Model 1873 SRC's), and if a 100% match, I wouldn't be surprised to see it fetch in the $500,000 to $1 million range.
There are 1000000 litres in a gallon.
The volume of a quarter is 3236 mm3 approx. 5 US gallons = 22,044,419 mm3 Therefore a full bucket would hold approx 22044419/3236 = 6813 quarters They would be worth 6813/4 = 1703 dollars. The true value is likely to be significantly less because of gaps between the coins.
I don't $0.50 maybe.
$47 dollars a gallon in Montana
i gallon worth of pounds
I doubt it'd be worth anything as a novelty antique, but if it's made of pure silver, it's be worth a fair bit, yes. You should check the current value of silver, and then have the bucket appraised.
it worth 32 cent
You would be richer with the 1/2 bucket of dimes... Not only because they are worth twice as much, but mainly because they are smaller and it would take a larger # of them to fill the bucket 1/2 way.
