You can only buy them if you're a licensed NFA Class III dealer, and able to obtain a demo letter from your local law enforcement agency. The least expensive one I've seen available for sale under such circumstances was going for $2100.
I don't know which gun store you are going to but the Glock 18 is $507 and the Glock 18c is $532.
