Water
A weeping willow needs lots of water. As for most other trees, you need a area the same size as the drip line of the tree, as for a weeping willow, you only need a third of the size of drip line.
desert plants with long roots require less water.
plant a willow seed in a tree patch... but you will need a high enough level to do this you can take a bucket of water and fill it up with sand and leaves but still have a little bit of water higher than the sand and take a twig off of a willow tree and put the stem of it into the sand and it will die back first but it will eventually grow new sprouts you can use whatever sized branch that you want it will wor better with a large branch but small will work too i have never seen a willow make seeds but if it did the you would probably need standing water to do it.
No. A weeping willow can be grown as a single specimen.
