Arabians like all other horse breeds needs 0.5 to 1.0 gallons of water per 100 pounds of bodyweight daily. This means that a 1,000 pound horse would drink 5 to 10 gallons of water. Water intake will increase when it is extremely hot/humid, the horse is in work, or when lactating.
Arabians have a huge amount of stamina, and can go without water for weeks. Arabian's tend to have larger hearts then other breeds, and Arabians also have 17 ribs in each lung, rather than 16 in other breeds such as the quarter horse
What an Arabian horse has to live around will depend on where it lives. They can be kept in meadows, field's, paddocks, stalls, and pens. Each one presents different obstacles to the horse living there.
The best Arabian horse in the world is going to vary from person to person due to their opinions. One person may prefer endurance legends while another may prefer halter horses and thus each one will list a different answer.
Any breed can be a good first horse so long as the rider and horse get along and match each others skills.
Well the Anglo- Arabian is considered a hot-blood horse. But the temperament of each horse will vary no matter the breed.
Arabians will do the same things as any other breed of horse, they will gallop, buck, rear and play with each other or their horse toys.
Answer 1: In cool weather, horses will drink about 10-12 gallons per day. During hot weather they drink 20-25 gallons (or more) per day depending on the heat and humidity. Answer 2: A horse drinks roughly 1.5 to 1.0 gallons of water per 100 pounds of body weight. In the winter horses tend to drink less as they don't like to drink overly cold water and in the summer or during very hard work they may drink up to twice as much. There is no one 'standard' amount of water a horse will drink year round.
Thousands of Arabian horses are registered each year. Exact worldwide numbers are hard to come by, I would suggest contacting the Arabian Horse Association and asking them for more information on exact numbers.

Horses should have water available at all times not matter what. There is an old wives tale about not giving a horse too much water when it has been working hard and is hot, otherwise it could cause colic. That however is not true and has been debunked through scientific research. If however you are worried about the horse gulping down too much water while it's hot, you can keep a bucket of tepid water nearby and walk the horse to cool it out, each time you pass the bucket let the horse drink for a short time then move on , making another pass. Horses drink on average 0.5 to 1.0 gallons of water per 100 pounds of bodyweight, but this can quadruple during hot weather or after exertion.
