In the episode where Laxus pits Fairy Tail against each other, Fried put runes around the building that don't allow people over 80 to leave (so master Makarov couldn't help them). For some reason, Natsu and Gajeel couldn't leave. This could possibly be due to the dragon souls of Igneel and Metallicana inside the pair.
A much later issue has revealed that Natsu Dragneel is the younger brother of Zeref Dragneel, meaning he is roughly 400 years old. However there are still unanswered questions there, whether Fairy Tail's Natsu is that same person, and how he is related to E.N.D, which we know stands for Etherious Natsu Dragneel, though that individual is supposedly sealed inside a book for now.

∙ 12y agoNatsu's age is never really given. But I'm pretty sure that he should be 17, like Lisanna and Lucy are. But Natsu's supposedly of average height, and he's a little short for 17. So his age remains unknown....

It was never stated in the anime nor in the manga. There weren't any hints given in them either. But let's just assume that he's about Lucy's or Gray's age. Maybe about 17 or 18 years old.
It is a fairly obscure answer but most sources agree that Lucy is 17, Gray and Natsu are 18 and Erza is 19.
One interesting part of chapter 108 is that Fried set some runes up to stop anyone over the age of 80 from leaving the guild, to prevent Makarov from leaving. For some reason this also prevented both dragon slayers, Gajeel and Natsu from leaving.

∙ 8y agoPhysically he's probably in his early 20's. We now know that he is from the past, he was sent 400 years forward via the very first Eclipse Gate, though that doesn't really make him 420-something.
