i got mine knocked out and later that day i was able to run a new PR for myself and now im running with a broken wrist and stil setting records for my scewl and neiborhood in the 2 mile and in the 5 mile
Absolutely not. You should not engage in any strenuous activity at this time. You need to lay low and stay as relaxed as possible. Too much activity increases your blood flow, causing more blood at the extraction site.
You need to allow your mouth to heal. Who knows what may be in that chlorine water that could get trapped into your wound, increasing your risk of possible infection!
At least wait a few weeks and if you still feel the urge to swim, contact your dentist to hear what he/she has to say.
I wouldn't suggest swimming 48 hours after surgery but when i had mine out i was swimming a week after surgery. (mainly because i had a swollen face and i was letting low until i went out in public again!) i would suggest lots of rest and when you are ready you can give swimming a go!
just be careful not to push yourself and/or swim straight after surgery as risk of blood clots being shifted.
hope this helped!
I would say wait at least 3-5 days after you get your wisdom teeth out. Waiting a week is the preferred amount of time to wait though.
Once your stitches get removed, so about a week.
couple days
Your dentist can take a special x-ray called a panoral. This will give a good view of all your teeth, including any potential wisdom teeth. This will tell the dentist the likelihood of you getting your wisdom teeth.
No That's impossible youll just have missing teeth regaurdless But you don't need your wisdom teeth
I assume you mean, why do you have to get wisdom teeth out...or else why do you get gassed to get wisdom teeth out. Answer to one: You get wisdom teeth out because they are messing up the alignment of your permanent teeth, causing you discomfort, have cavities (me), or your mouth is not large enough to accommodate them. Answer two: you get gassed so that you are not fully aware of the cracking, drilling and general pain of getting wisdom teeth out. Essentially it is to make you more comfortable and compliant so that you do not freak out on the dentist or surgeon (I would have done that, I had IV sedation when mine were removed).
I have never heard of that happening. As far as I know, eyesight has nothing to do with you having or not having your wisdom teeth.
Sure you can.
Yes, it is recommend
AnswerIn most cases, there should be no problem in having your wisdom teeth extracted while you are still wearing braces. This is usually done when there is an infection on the wisdom tooth, or when the extraction is indicated to help with the orthodontic treatment.AnswerAfter having had braces, for four years, the orthodontist told me which teeth had to be extracted PRIOR to the braces being put on. The extraction sites had to then heal, before the braces could be applied. Working around braces is so difficult, that normal dental cleanings and flossing can NOT be done.
If you mean your wisdom teeth, only if they are causing problems with the other teeth. Many people do not have enough room for them to fit properly in the mouth.
If you let your adult teeth come out passively, it might take a long time for them to come out. But if the dentist or orthodontist pulls on them with the braces, it might take only a few weeks or a few months at the most.
Anything that helps. Wisdom teeth hurt like hell so I wouldn't recommend aspirin or ibuprofin. Go with whatever they give you and moderate the dosage.
Yes you can. The Doctors recommend waiting 48 hours AT LEAST. And then when you do decide to smoke, take small hits and put a gauze in over your holes to keep from getting dry socket.
