You have to go make a private server which you run = How can make online server for World of Warcraft? =
There is no right way to make a private server. They are illegal and should be discouraged. Please be happy with the game Blizzard has provided.
Yes you can download the game. But first you have to make an account and upgrade online to the world of warcraft you are purchasing then it is just as simple as downloading the installer and installing it.
The game 'World of Warcraft' was featured in the 10th season of the show, and the episode was called 'Make Love, Not Warcraft'. The characters play the real life game, as available online.

1. Buy World of WarCraft, or download the game from worldofwarcraft.com. (make sure you get the original game; if you buy one of the expansion packs alone, and do not have the original game, you won't be able to play. If you download the trial online, you'll be fine) 2. Create an account on battle.net 3. Log in 4. Select your realm (aka server) 5. Click Create Character.
World of Warcraft is actually a sequel to the Warcraft series, this was created by Blizzard in 1990 I think (Not Sure). It started a long time ago and has grown to be so successful that they decided to make an MMORPG out of the game. (MMORPG = Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game)
To play any World of Warcraft you must select a realm and make your character.

WC3 stands for Warcraft 3. It's a great game and you should try it but if you do get the expansion pack. You can go online and play against other people around the world, make your own maps in the world editor and more! Way better than world of warcraft, cuz theres no monthly cost. you just buy the program and install, and no more costs.

Assuming you mean a fun server among the official WoW servers, try and check the Realm Forums at the World of Warcraft site. You can usually tell by the threads there how the server is, and if in doubt you can always make a thread to ask people how the server is like. If you see a server you like, create a level 1 character and see how /trade and /general channels are like, and ask around what people do for fun on this server. For instance, if there are any classic raids, massive PvP battles, roleplay, or the like. If you wish to transfer characters, do not do this unless you have a good feeling about the server. Transfering characters back after you found out you hate the place is expensive and a waste of time.
