I scanned pictures onto the computer to put on movie maker but they come up big red x's what do i do to get rid of them?

Until you Finish/Publish a video in Windows Movie Maker, DO NOT CHANGE/MOVE/DELETE the files. Altering files used in projects prior to publishing/finishing will result in red X's in place of media.
If you see red X's on media, you will need to relocate the original files and re-import them into the project again.
