Also, we would have to pay attention to the definition of "happy". Perhaps McDonalds intends to define "Happy" as a momentary thing. It is unlikely that we can prove that the child did not smile, nor display any brief flash of "happiness", during or shortly after consuming the meal. Furthermore, it is likely that the high sugar content in the food would produce a fleeting flash of the emotion known as "happy", if only for a moment, and if only to later exacerbate the original depressive state.
