I've got one of these. Just started having the same problem. For mine, it looks like the problem is with the Power switch. Try wiggling it - i.e., press in, wiggle until the display comes on, then release. Now that I know this is the problem with mine, next step will be to find a new switch to solder in there.
A multimeter has many parts. Some of these include the display, the controls, the probes, and the power source. Multimeters can be analog or digital.
Because your multimeter is not an adequate device for this kind of measurement. Use the correct multimeter to display the triangular wave value.

Analog multimeters use a microammeter with a moving pointer to display readings
Parts of a digital multimeter include an LCD display and range knob. There are also common ground, positive voltage terminal, and positive current terminal.
How can solve the problem of display of loading compan of tally 7.2
One disadvantage of a multimeter is that the LCD display depends on the battery. If battery is low, the display will be dim. Another disadvantage is that it can record errors in case of fluctuation.

Either your LCD screen has got a major hardware problem or it is the problem with your display adapter. Check the display cable for any internal breaks(sometimes that may be the problem). Try Reinstalling your display drivers. If your dont know what to do. Call your LCD vendor for support.
A multimeter? Zero because there is no voltage difference, zero because there's no current flow (amperage) and zero ohms of resistance because they are both touching the same metal terminal. Or, perhaps it reads zero because you have it turned off.
