Several People, as the actual components (the discovery of radio waves, how to transmit/receive,actual radio device) were invented by multitudes of people, all who might claim to have invented the radio.

Guglielmo Marconi.

Marconi did not invent wireless telegraphy. He used 17 patents belonging to Nikola Tesla and a wireless telegraph that Tesla and Sir Oliver Lodge had developed and Marconi developed a similar device and called it his own. It was only years down the road, in 1943, was the decision reversed through the US Supreme Courts and they decided that Nikola Tesla was the first one to demonstrate wireless telegraphy as early as 1893.

Research wireless telegraphy and you will find Marconi did not invent it and should never have received a Nobel prize for actually "stealing" someone else's invention.

Nicola Tesla. Most people say it was marconi but he used most of Tesla's patents.
