Who is the traitor in Maximum Ride?

That's debatable in the third book 'Maximum ride : saving the world and other extreme sports' Max and angel come up with a plan that angel would act as a traitor to get inside information........ James Patterson explains it in the book after they break out of the school. But however in the sixth book (Fang) Angel becomes more rebellious. As an example: SPOILER! Angel starts a vote to kick Max out of the group because she was not there to help when Erasers attacked, she was to caught up with Fang.

And she threatens to shoot Max, the reason is she suspected someone was after them and she knew they wanted Max alive, but the book said and I quote

" Nobody move unless I tell them to" Angel said calmly,

"okay, so what happens next is everyone shuts up and listens to what I have to say, one by one you adults will walk away and if you don't I'll pull the trigger and you know what will happen?"

"You'll kill Max" Fang said hoarsely.

"Right"

"You'd never kill one of your flock" said a reporter.

"Is that what you think?" Angel smiled " Max what do you think?'

I only had to think for a millisecond "She would do it, in case you didn't catch last weeks episode of I'm outta the flock, she's wanted me gone for a long time" I let my voice shake "Angel is unbalanced.'

"Untrustworthy" Fang seconded.

"Unpredictable" Jed added

"Dangerous" Dylan chimed in.

"That's right," Angel said slowly "That's just the word I would use"

So Angel, though she loved Max, wanted to be leader instead, so she kicked her out of the flock.

Also in the fifth book Angel doesn't listen to Max and goes against what she says.
