Compared to US yes, but compared to the world it is an average country with a high standard of living. Armenia HDI is at 76th compared to 210 countries. The average GDP per capita is about $5.500 however the cost of living there is cheaper as almost 95% of the populations owns their house and is fully paid off!
Armenia is a country. It is between Turkey and Georgia ( also a country, NOT the US state)
I'm told it is approximately the size of Maryland, US, only a bit larger.
Currently, the United States is not a poor country.
it like 65% poor 35% rich
Because Cambodia is a developed country. And Cambodia is a poor country, and US wants to help poor countries.
The United States is the third largest country in the world by land area, after Russia and Canada. In terms of population, the United States is the third most populous country, after China and India.
Chad is poor, the US is not.

Syria has the 66th largest economy of any country (at US$59,330,000,000), which is not considered poor. However, Syria has the 114th largest GDP per capita (US$5,078), which is considered poor. As of external debt, Syria is only 13% in debt, one of the lowest in the world. However, as of public debt, Syria is in 30% debt, which is not necessarily bad, but not necessarily good (compared to other nations). Syria is a rich country, meaning the government, however, its citizens do not earn that much money.
