Is JKRowling writing any novels now?

She is writing, but it's nothing to do with the "Harry Potter" books. She's now writing a book more for younger children. She did have plans for the children of the surviving characters---Harry, Ron, and Hermione---, but she changed her mind and wants to feel the new found freedom without worrying about deadlines. Hope I helped!
