Ipod Nano 4G is a big upgrade from the 2G Nano, but you never know what the new nano will be like. This is your choice though and totally up to you.

Deleting Songs from an iPod Nano?
You have to plug the iPod into your computer with the cord it came with and then go to iTunes. Next, double click on the iPod nano icon in the left sidebar and it should drop a list of things like 'Music' etc. Click on the 'Music' category and you should see all the songs that are on the iPod nano (at this stage if you can't click on the songs then you need to change the iPod to 'let the iPod be controlled manually' which if you click the iPod icon, should bring you to a list of options you can check for the iPod).
