Soft Italian style cheeses

Mozzarella, Provolone, Cacioccvallo, Bocconcini , Scamorze

The heat treatment (typically 71-88°C ) given to these cheeses is sufficient to inactivate any Listeria present, however opportunities exist for post processing contamination.

In general these cheeses are safe to consume by at risk groups if purchased pre packaged. Avoid these cheeses if purchased at a delicatessen counter.

Agree with the comments above.

It is not recommended to eat unpastuerised cheeses while you are pregnant. With any soft cheese, including Brie, Camembert and Ricotta, there is a minor risk of Listeria infection when consumed. Bocconcini, however is heated to over 80 degrees in manufacturing which means it is much safer than soft cheeses.

If you are pregnant, it is much safer to consume soft cheeses if they are cooked and served hot (as this kills any bacteria in the cheese).

It is recommended to stay away from blue cheese, gorgonzola and many other soft cheeses. Most of them carry listeria, which can be harmful. Here is a good article from Fit Pregnancy about what foods are safe and which are not. fitpregnancy.com

Pregnant women are advised not to eat soft, mould-ripened cheese.

Gorgonzola can sometimes cause harm to an unborn baby. Talk to your doctor about the risks of soft cheeses and which types to avoid during pregnancy.

Is it safe to eat cheese fondue while pregnant?

Any cheese cooked is perfectly safe to eat whilst pregnant, regardless if its pasteurised or not. Hard unpasteurised cheese is safe to eat uncooked too, its got nothing to do with if its unpasteurised or not the question is if its soft or not. The bacteria grows in the moisture of the cheese, when you take it home its the other bugs in your unwashed salad etc that uses the cheese as a playground to grow and fester. Medical staff are ill advised and if in doubt you should go to Waitrose and speak to the cheese specialists who are qualified within the cheese industry to advise you better. so to sum it up you shouldn't eat soft cheese pasteurised or not but hard its completely safe.
