no not really. It`s just a sign that they need privoucy.
AnswerYes. It means they are angry or scared. If you don't leave them alone or don't calm them, they will bite you. AnswerIf your guinea pig doesn't usually (or ever) bite, just pick them up and hold them close, then after about a minute of that, you can put them down (if you are playing with them) and let them face you so they know they are being watched so they feel a lot safer. If they start doing that again, just repeat over and over again until you put them back in their cage. But if your guinea pig does bite, just get a towel and put it on top of them (it should touch the ground all the way around) then let them sit with the towel on top until they stop then you can pick them up and play with them again. The towel is so important because that way they can't see anything but the towel so they won't freak out and run away. If they turn, that's fine because that means they are just trying to get used to where they are. He should be fine after only a few minutes. From what i know, guinea pigs chatter when they are agitated or angry.
it usually means they want to chew or eat something, also they make a noise when they want to be left alone.
it depends....... if it is making noises it is either annoyed and wants to be alone or it is ill or has hurt somewhere on its self or it is in pain........
It is cold.
That its going to eat you or something else.Plus its cold.
it may be hungry, its playing or its teething. if its a puppy most likely its teething.
its been bothered
You should not have to worry about keeping your guinea pigs teeth straight they should stay straight on their own if they arent this could mean they are loose and you should contact a vet immediatly.
Its teeth might be to long and the result is pain as it eats
Guinea pigs that don't eat could indicate a problem with their teeth. A guinea pig's teeth constantly grow throughout their entire lives and if they do not have access to hard foods to nibble on their teeth will overgrow. It is easy to check the front teeth (the incisors). A guinea pig with over grown teeth will need to be taken to a rodent friendly vet or rodentologist that can trim the teeth without using anesthetic. Guinea pigs have no nerve endings in their teeth so having them trimmed doesn't hurt them. The Guinea Pig Care 4 Kids program has everything a child (and adult) will ever need to know about caring for their guinea pig.
You Know when a guinea pig is scared when you see it start to kind of curl and make his/her self shorter. They also tend to pee or poo where they get scared. If the Guinea pig is in a cage when he or she is scared it will most likely hide in a tunnel,Pigaloo,Igloo,Ect.!! Just make sure that if he or she is out or in a cage ALWAYS avoid hovering over them..Slowly walk totheir cage or where they are in a calm fashion.Hope I helped.Hope your piggie(s) won't be as scared. It takes a while to get them used to you.Enjoy!:)
when a guinea pig clicks their teeth or their teeth start to chatter, that means that whatever you are doing or they are by they DO NOT LIKE. when they click their teeth they are trying to warn you to stay away because they are going to bite or be aggresive. you can go to the website guineapigsclub.com for more information!
Well, the squeak is excitement! The pur sound is happy, and when they grind their teeth they are warning you and angry.
It could be a way to get your attention or it could be a way of them filing down their teeth.
he is upset because you might have touched him in a sensitivity area or hurt him. Try cuddling with him after
