Sure! being a teen is a confusing time, you still want be carefree and do kids stuff but people expect you to act mature and responsible, pile on top of that your budding sexuality, school and peer pressure, the need to be liked and accepted, you want to be free but everyone is holding you back, and you don't know if you are coming or going. Theres just one answer.. Roll with it Baby... Try to enjoy this time and don't let it get to you, everyone has gone through it and you wont find many who wouldn't trade places with you in a heartbeat, so don't fight the changes.. Talk to your parents or to a trusted friend when things get too heavy, participate in sports because believe it or not many of your frustrations can be vented through physical activity, and concentrate on the most important thing in your life right now and that is school.

Teenage angst is very common; and considered normal.

Everybody experiences occasional depression; and teenagers are no exception.

For some however the depression is more severe, and these people should talk about it to a counsellor, religious advisor, or doctor. For people with clinical depression it can be a very serious condition if not treated.

Generally I would say that teens go through a lot. So life can feel hard and unfair at times. So some suicidal thoughts might be seen as ok. If it becomes suicidal ideation (where thoughts of suicide become frequent and strong) then attention should be sought from a pysch.

Personally if you are getting suicidal thoughts I would suggest you speak to a counsellor or someone like a teacher and discuss what is behind them...

Not at all. You would be suprised at how many teenagers think about suicide. I've been thinking about it since i was 12 and I'm now 18. You have to consider if it's the home you live in, or the family, or the relationship that is causing this, and change them so you are happy. If there is no cause to why you think about it, other than to relieve yourself of life, then i would go and see a doctor. Do not let them prescribe you pills straight away. Excersise is good for having a posative attitude, so I've heard. I hope you get better.
