I am not an expert but I would think if the last time this thermostat was done was 1994 it would be done again. 13 years is a long time to me. Also go on line and search out the longevity of an item like this When it was redone in 1994 there must of been some information about how long it would last. When you get a new one make sure you have information about how long it is going to last THE CAR YEAR IS 1994 (you can not use periods in questions....) Please dont assume someones inability to think when answering a question

Remove the water supply hose from the top of your 2005 Chevy Cavalier thermostat housing. Remove the thermostat housing retaining bolts. Lift the old thermostat out and drop in the new thermostat.
