Many "religions" have come and gone throughout history. In a sense, religion developed as an explanation of the unexplainable. But, as we have better explanations for things, it is slowly being replaced by the scientific method.
Science and technology are intimately linked, as science essentially is the art of having an idea, testing it, and improving existing methods. The ability to capture fire, or build the first stone tools would have been a melding of science and technology.
Since the essence of being human is often described as the ability to control fire, and use tools, these would at least have been as old as humanity itself.
But, it is likely that some kind of superstition would have evolved hand in hand. Good Luck Charms, Medicine Men, Hunting rituals, and etc. In fact, essentially all primitive tribes exhibit some kind of ritualistic behavior.
So, I'd guess you'd end up with a tie.
Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
Well... the combination of DNA that created the first chicken would have existed in an egg. Was it a "chicken egg"? Or was the first real chicken egg that which was laid by the first chicken? The reality is they came to exist essentially at the same time.
The technology is older than science
Sadly, no.
Christianity is about 700 years older than Islam.
Because science should use science jr. since he is Sciences son.
Science requires objective validation, not just words.
i think you mean what,,,,, and...nothing, unless you count human biology before it was classed as that, and if you don't class anything....nothing is older than science
I think it does because it is a much older religion than christianty!
Older than you thats forsure
Religion is not a science.
Science is older. Because, Technology is the application of Science
Science deals in observable, verifiable phenomena rather than purely in abstractions, so it is more concrete than religion and philosophy.
Christianity is older than Islam.
