Is rock music good for your brain?

Just about any music can be good or bad for your brain, but usually GOOD. (Excluding Hip-Hop, R&B and half of the Rap)

Sometimes our brains need external stimulus to 'wake up' or to 'look alive,' but too much of anything could become bad. Except for Metal, there's no such thing as too much. It has been proposed that a good level of exposure to musical stimulus increases Tonaland Semantic memory capacity and/or efficacy.

Some bands such as Tool use Binaural Rhythms to cause changes in the brain, such as release of endogenous Opiate Enkephalins or even to change your internal brain frequencies to Alpha, Beta... even Theta or Delta activity.

A Binaural Rhythm is when one frequency is heard in one ear, another by the other ear, and the difference between the 2 is generated inside your brain.
