There are 6 non-metals: carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, sulfur, and selenium. Nitrogen and oxygen are colorless gasses at room temp. Frozen oxygen is bluish though red crystals and a metallic structure form at extreme cold combined with high pressure. Frozen nitrogen is colorless, and so are the crystals.

Carbon is a black solid at room temp; graphite (carbon) is silvery dark grey; diamond (carbon) is colorless.

Phosphorus is a solid at room temp and has three allotropes: white (yellowish white in color), red (red to orange) and black (violet to black).

Sulfur is pale yellow to yellow and crystals are yellow, although it has one allotrope which is reddish orange.

Selenium, a solid at room temp, is black or red and crystals are grey or red.

Silver is a transition metal. As such, it is not a non-metal. A link is provided to the Wikipedia article on silver.

Since the coin is made of silver, we will look at the silver, not the coin. The silver is a type of metal, therefore, the silver coin IS an OBJECT MADE OF A TYPE OF METAL.
