it can be an overdose depnding on the patients opiod tollerance. if you have a high opiod tol you can concevably take 900mg of Oxycontin per day i know because i used to take that amount. it is not good though to get to that point because you are taking much more than needed to really work for pain relief. if you are trying to get high then you can to this if your a very high opiod tolerant pataint. most people are not you would have to been taking opiods for years and slowly keep uping the dose over time, they call this chasing the dragon, because you will never feel the feeling you use to feel, so i learned to just stay at one level that works and don't push your luck and destroy your life.
