There are three pyramids in Giza~
- The Pyramid of Menkaura: 213 feet tall
- The Pyramid of Khaefra: 471 feet tall
- The "Great" Pyramid of Khufu: 481 feet tall
Last year I visited all these sites with the help of Complete Egypt. It is a very famous local travel agency in Egypt.

The first pyramidal structures were in Mesopotamia. These ziggurats were actually step pyramids, rather than the smooth-sided shape of a classic pyramid. As far as I know Egypt was the first location of the smooth-sided pyramid.
