Absolutely, 100% yes. I bought my Nintendo Switch and copy of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Friday, Mar. 3, 2017—the day they both released—and it was one of the best weekends of my entire life. As a longtime fan of the series (I have a tattoo of Link from Skyward Sword), I had to get my hands on the newest title.
Breath of the Wild completely blew my mind, and has since solidified itself as one of my favorite games of all time. If you're a fan of the series, this newest one takes a lot of the tropes and aspects of the Zelda formula and mixes them up, focusing on exploration more than dungeons and puzzles. The feeling of "hey, what's that over there?" that the game relies on never gets stale and has kept my curiosity piqued every time I've opened the title in the past three years.
It took me several months to actually buy a second game for my Switch, just because I couldn't stop running around Hyrule and finding exciting, new stuff to interact with.
In my opinion the Nintendo Switch isn't worth it because $300 gets you the console and not any of the games or pro controllers.
