Is the iPod shuffle as good as the iPod nano?
No. It doesn't have as much memory and you can't see the song titles to be able to choose which one you want to play.
And you can't play games, view photos and watch videos, nano has more extras.

Ipod nanos are a very good choice to make, by my opinion. If someone wants an MP3 player, and an Ipod touch is too expensive, go for the nano. . All you're going to get here is personal opinion, but mine, for what it's worth, is that Nanos are too small. The largest you can get is the 4GB and that…'s only 1000 +/- songs (50+ CDs). The benefit is the nano's size, and if that's important to you (you're a runner and you want to strap it to your arm), then it may be worth accepting the smaller capacity. But consider this, for an extra $100 ($199 vs $299), you can get a 30GB video model with over 7 times the capacity plus the video. Guess it all boils down to what you're going to use it for. Hope that help. The New Nanos Are Out . The largest new iPod nano is 8gb and you can have up to 2000 songs 8 hours of video or 7000 photos or a bit of each. In one charge, you can play 5 hours of video or 24 hours of audio. so i guess iPod nanos arent a waste of time or money specially if you get it cheap. (MORE)
Answer . You would have to put the song on itunes. then you can put it on your ipod.. Super easy way to get your hands on your ipod songs:. open my computer, file e: (when ipod is plugged in), go up to TOOLS, Folder options, View, and click on show hidden items (apple hides and scrambles your s…ong list.) in e: click on ipod_control, music, and you should see "F#" these are the scrambled song titles. transfer to your desktop, and do whatever you want with your songs! great for transferring songs from one ipod to another! don't forget to turn hidden back off, don't wanna delete something you need! It also contains a timer, alarm watch, and contacts. The most recent version, the 5th generation, has a m…icrophone, video camera, and many other extras. Hope this is helpful! (MORE)
It holds songs and is mostly used for running, exercising. Very useful. I have one for sale. I want $30.00 on craigslist. With charger. Holds about 150 songs.
depends which generation.. but the newest one ( 5 ) has the regular ipod stuff (music, TV shows, movies ect) but it has a thing that reads some of the words, they call it voiceover and it also has a video camera.. no pictures only videos
The key functions of the iPod Nano are music playback and displaying photos. In addition it can sync notes and colanders with a computer, it also has a number of games. The latest iPod Nano can also play video files and run additional software from the iTunes store.
ipod nano is touch screen (if it is touch) and shuffle isnt. it only has buttons
I got mine at walmart. $50.00. you can get it on ebay, amazon, beezid, and other websites or stores.
The new iPod shuffle has a built-in clip so you can put it on your jacket, belt, or whatever. It's a ipod that you can put at least 1,000 songs on to... And it has games, and you can put photo's on it.
The new nano abandons the "wrist watch" factor that was originally promoted by Steve Jobs, resembling the iPod/iPhone line for more consistency. The difference between good or bad will depend on the importance of the screen size for a music/photo/movie reader.
ipod nonos can do lots of things like search/radio/tv/pictures/time people and much more mp3 players suck
If you mean the song in the commercial it is 'Who is Gonna Sing' by the Prototypes.
ipod touch definitley because you can have many games many which are free and you can access youtube, itunes and the internet directly from the ipod so although they do cost more theyre alot better value and fun. \*/WHAT I SAID\*/ You should get an iPod touch. The newest ones have facetime, an inn…er AND outer camera, HD video recording, it has iMessage BUILT IN, there are more than 100,000 games in the app store to chose from, you can have LOADS AND LOADS of songs, it has iCloud in it, and finally, you can access YouTube, iTunes, and Safari (internet) directly from the iPod. You can get an iPod touch for, like, 50 dollars less on ebay OR you could get one directly from the Apple store or on http.//www.apple.com/ipodtouch \*/ \*/ \*/ I hope you take my advice! ~Mermaids_R_Real (MORE)
Depending on what generation the iPod is, it can do different things. The fourth generation can do the following: 1. Listen to Music 2. Watch Movies that you can buy off of iTunes 3. Watch TV Shows 4. Watch movies that you rent off iTunes 5. Watch music videos 6. Look at Photos that you can put on y…our iPod 7. Watch Podcasts which you can buy off iTunes 8. Play Games 9. And more... On the fifth generation nano you can do all of the above and you can capture video on your iPod. (MORE)
it shuffles up your songs so they play randomly and also so you don't see what song it is i play a game i share mine with my friend and first to figure out the song gets a point its quite funish
I would rather have a nano . I'd rather have a nano because its better and it doesn't have a hard drive like a touch does (if you drop an Ipod touch there's a high risk of it braking). if you were to have a shuffle its too small and easyer to lose. i don't like the shuffle because it cant play v…ideos and it doesn't even have a screen. Nanos are thin and you can do fun things with it and its not to big and bulky. but if you like an ipod for running i would get the shuffle because you can just clip it on to your clothing and makes things a lot easier then putting it in a case. if you like ipods with video and not that easy to break i would get the nano. they're fun just to have! if you want to be mr. flashy i would get the touch. also if your a youtube fanatic. in conclusion id rather have the nano. I would rather have a touch . I'd rather have an iPod touch because it has a flash drive and you can surf the internet and play many free games. With the iPod touch you can download many free third-party applications in the app store. And a refurbished one can cost a lot less. It has a nifty interface, and since it has a revised thinner outer covering, it can slide right into your pocket. It has a light sensor and an accelerometer. It has a big screen (its actually mostly screen) and you can touch your music. YOU CAN ACTUALLY FEEL YOUR MUSIC. And watch movies and youtube videos. There are ENDLESS POSSIBLITIES to this contraption. So, in conclusion, the iPod touch is way better than a nano or a shuffle. (MORE)
On a rating of 1 to 10, i say it's 9. It comes with a charger that plugs into a computer. You have to download iTunes to put songs into it though. If you want to download songs for free, go to www.mp3raid.com Overall it is a very nice product, with convinent headphone controls. If you a…re a runner than this is not the product to buy, because the controls flop all over the place. Unless you like all the songs, then you don't have to change it. I have one, and i love it. It comes in all different colors. Hope that answered your question! (MORE)
It depends on what you want to use it for. If all you want is music watch some videos, and play some games, then yes, the ipod nano is a good choice for you. But if you want apps and internet, the I would recommend the ipod touch or the iphone.
well perhaps your favorite color of the few(yellow, blue, green, pink, purple, orange, red, black, silver) and if you like none of them ask the person who you would trust the most to give you an example and if you like it go for it.
without a doubt the Nano is better. It has a screen and you can listen to a certain song but with a shuffle, it's a random song and there is no screen.
No, because they are different patterns, so the the chargers should be different. Buy one online: http://www.dinodirect.com/iPod-Accessories/. They are very cheap.
I've had a shuffle 2nd generation for 3 years and it is still in really good shape. I really like how it can clip onto your clothes. A lot of my friends always wonder how I live without a screen on my iPod, but it never really bothered me. But with every new update for the iPod I started wishing tha…t my iPod had a screen. I couldn't play games, watch movies, and I never knew what song was coming up next. Another bad thing about the shuffle is that it only has 1GB. and it can only hold 300 songs. But everyone prefers a different iPod. Here are the iPods I recommend for your specific needs:. If you want to use your iPod as a fashion accessory and you don't listen to music that much- iPod Shuffle 2nd generation. Comes in about 5 colors. 1GB, holds 240 songs. Around $50. If you LOVE to listen to music- iPod Classic. Comes in 2 colors. 120GB, holds 30,000 songs. $250. If you want a nice looking iPod that comes in many colors and you really like to listen to music- iPod nano. 8GB and 16GB, holds 2,000 songs with 8GB and 4,000 songs with 16GB. Comes in 9 colors. If you love music, games, movies and more- iPod Touch. Comes in 1 color. 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB, olds holds 1,700 songs with 8GB, 3,500 songs with 16GB, and holds 7,000 songs with 32GB. I hope this helps when you are making your next iPod selection. (MORE)

An Apple Retail Store, a local Best Buy, a local Walmart, or basically anywhere that sells electronics.
YES it can! all you have to do is go to "shuffle songs" and it will choose a random song then all you do is give it a good shake and it will make this "beeping noise" and it changes song.
You can get them at www.apple.com You can get them at Target You can get them at Toys R S You can get them at Target You can get them at EBay You can get them just about anywere!
There is a little switch by the on and off switch.... to the left. There are two arrows and the ones that cross and then go the same way is NO Shuffle. But the other one is to MAKE it shuffle.... Hope I helped! LoL!
Yes, I think the iPod nano is good. It works well and is fun to use. I have an iPod nano 5th generation and love it. Even though you can't watch videos on it any iPod nano's, I think they are a good investment. You would need an iPod touch or, you could hook your iPod nano up to your TV or computer.… (MORE)
The ipod touch i would say it's better it has touch screen it could hold morecapacity of movies and alot else. *EDIT* This totally depends on how you want to use it. If your only going to listen to music, pick the iPod Nano, because it is light and cheaper. Also, it can record things, something… the iPod Touch can't. If you want to do lots of things, (ie. play games, surf the web, etc...) get the iPod Touch. (MORE)

Yes, iPod Nanos are very good iPods. They are perfect for those who like to run and/or work out while listening to music. Its small and compact size makes it a very good iPod. The new Ipod 5th Generation has a camera as well. Ipods are the "better" mp3 players. They play games, movies, music, and mu…ch much more. (MORE)
You can get them really anywhere that has electronics, wal-mart, target, costco, sams, etc etc
It really depends. I used to own a shuffle and I hated it. I love having a screen. If you only need an ipod for working out, then a shuffle is best. Otherwise get a nano. It is worth it.
It means you have to connect your ipod to itunes select that ipod on the menu and click restore.
first, if its an iPod nano 6th generation, you go to sttings, the go to music, then touch the screen where it says "On"
An iPod Shuffle has no screen and it ONLY plays music. The neat thing is that you can talk to it, it's called VoiceOver. The iPod Nano [Current 2011] is the same size, though is has a multi-touch screen and more.
You can listen to music, see photos and videos, you can play games, you can see and read books, you can download and see podcasts from Itunes, and much more!
The iPod nano was not the first iPod; the iPod classic (at that time the iPod) was the first.
The ipod nano 4th generation is still VERY popular today. I would reccomd to get it (its better value than a ipod touch or classical). I got one not to long ago, I recomed this to anyone.
iPod speakers are available for purchase from many companies, and vary on quality. The Bose iPod dock has a very high rating amongst the people who have purchased it, and is well worth the money if you're interested in superior sound.
Not entirely, they only play through headphones, they fall out of wrist straps and they aren't very good at clipping (I know, because I used to have one).
they are small ipods the only one with out a screen they have a wheel with four signs at the top of them there is an on or off button and a shuffle button and it has a clip so you can clip it on to your clothes i use it when i am running because it is not heavy and i can clip it on to my clothes eas…ily without it falling off (MORE)
