What would you like to do?
Is the knee distal to the hip?
Yes. Distal means farther from the point of attachment or from the center of the body. So the knee is distal to the hip, and the food would be distal to the knee and so on.

It's called the femur, and is the support structure of your thigh. femur
Proximal means closer to the origin of the body part or the point of attachment of a limb to the body trunk. Distal means farther from the origin of a body part or the point o…f attachment of a limb to the body trunk. In this case, because the thigh is closer to the body trunk than the knee, the knee is distal to the thigh.
Probably because of the physical pulling to dislocate the hip?
The femur or thigh bone.
Answer Often the knee joints can be affected by the change in gait that walking with a bad hip brings. The stress is differently applied to the knees than in norm…al walking and affects them. Alternatively, the underlying cause of the bad hip can be in the knees as well ie arthritis. Get it checked out.
The foot is distal to the knee Yes, because the origin of the leg is at the hip, and the thigh is closer to the hip than the foot.
It may cause symptoms identical to bursitis
Yes, as it can alter the way you walk this can then cause unequal wear on the hips.
The calf is distal to the knee. There are multiple muscles in the lower leg. Their position relative to the skin is what determines it's depth/superficiality.
