Yes because we have a united state. What caused the districts may have been terror. For example ans split in the united states, so bad that it could have caused Washington D.C to make districts to keep them from going to total pamimonium. So that is why I think it is in the future
I would say Science Fiction because it is scientifically possible that the world in the future could be like The Hunger Games, but for now it is still fiction.
yes it science fiction
Yes.
The book, The Hunger Games, is part of the Science Fiction genre. This is a Science Fiction book because the book is set in the future and has new inventions and usage of words. The Hunger Games, is set in the future because the continent of North America has been conquered by a group of people and is now called the country of Panam. It is also set in the future because they have hovercraft's that move extreamly fast. Another reason why this book is set in the future is because people have learned how to control the weather and temperature in an outdoor environment. This also show that they have new technologies to control the weather. These are just a few of the reasons why, The Hunger Games, is set in the science fiction genre.
The Hunger Games is considered fantasy/science fiction.
The Hunger Games is considered an adventure, science fiction, dystopian, and young adult fiction.
Science Fiction, Dystopian.
Because sci-fi is considered science that exists in the future and the timeline of the Hunger Games trilogy takes place in the future; the location of the districts is in the ruins of what was once North America
The Hunger Games is actually considered Dystopian fiction. It is also Science fiction because it takes place in the future, they have more technology, and it is still the future of OUR universe, just with a different name. So out of the three I'd have to go with Science fiction.
Science fiction/romance/action
It's a Science-Fiction novel, after North America has fallen.
The Hunger Games is a futuristic dystopian young adult science fiction trilogy.
