Answer:

Being in the service (Army), and having a father who is a pilot, I have had some experience from crossing in to Russia, from Alaska. I have been living in Anchorage, AK since the age of 2, and loved it ever since. There are a few choices when crossing into Russia. The first being is to take a plane up to the highest point of Alaska, and from there take a small fishing boat to Russia. The second is take a commercial jet from Anchorage, to Russia. The third is take a ferry service and go on from there.

Now when you take into consideration the cost's it tends to be expensive. The least amount of time, and costly option is to take a commercial jet liner. My father is a pilot so if I wanted to go to Hong Kong, all I have to do is pay $ 50.00 for a round trip ticket. However, I am very fortunate person to be.

The best option that is the cheapest, but takes more time to look into is the first option. By dealing with small privet businesses, there are many ways to get the best deal.

In all consideration take into account the amount of time, and your budget. I hope this has at least answered part of your question, and don't forget to apply for a visa from Russia (Don't want of course to be sent back to the States, when You put so much time and effort into it).

Well this is a difficult situation. One way is for you to take the long way around and use the ice caps. This is difficult because not only is the climate brutal but also because other factors such as polar bears are involved. The other way to is use a boat. However this area is patrolled by both the US and Russian coast guards and chances are you will get caught. One person swam from Big Diomeade Island ( Russia) into Little Diomeade (USA) once, the closest area where the US and Russia meet. However even by some chance you make it to Russia chances are you will get caught by the military and get send straight back to the US. But if you do make it and get away with it please inform us.
