∙ 8y agoRaccoons are probably attracted to your yard because they find food there. If you remove such enticements, the animals will have no reason to return. Do not leave pet food out, make sure trash cans are secured, etc. If your yard is enclosed you can post a large dog in the yard (with shelter, of course). Raccoons prefer to avoid confrontations with dogs.
