I may be incorrect with my theory, but from what I gather - I can serve in the U.S military as an immigrant and this gets me a green card... this then grants me U.S citizenship? Please correct me if I am wrong and/or could you please explain the ways i can get U.S citizenship through the military?
Yes, I think you can. Go talk to a recruiter .
No, but you can get a temporary visa (4 years). If you are an illegal immigrant and have been a victim of a crime, you may be eligible for a U-Visa.
Einstein renounced his German citizenship in 1896 to avoid mandatory military service in the German army. He chose to become a Swiss citizen instead.
If you have Turkish citizenship, you have to do military service. You can pay 10,000 USD (can differ) and you do the military service for only 21 days if you choose to.
First of all, a green card does not confer U.S. citizenship. It only indicates that someone can live and work in the United States as a permanent resident. You seem to have a lot of questions about gaining U.S. citizenship through service in the U.S. military. You really should review Sections 328 and 329 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). Talking to more than one Recruiter would be a good idea, too.
Not necessarily. There are legal residents who are not US citizens serving in the US military. However, it will lead to citizenship with honorable service.
They were granted U.S. citizenship :)
If he is living in Turkey, yes he had to. But if he had two citizenship like (U.S. - Turkey) he wont if he is in U.S. If he come back to Turkey, he would catched by the army and do his military service.

The military service is called the service, because people are serving their country.
Parents should renounce their citizenship so that the child's citizenship can be given up as well. You cannot apply on behalf of a minor nor he or she can do it unless they have reached the age of majority. * This is for countries that allow their citizens to renounce their citizenship; some have complicated regulations, taxes, compulsory military service, or they just won't let you do that at all.
