I'm sure there must be people like that, but to tell you the truth they would probably start smaller, just the capsule. FWIW I once saw a web page devoted to making replicas of the DSKY (Display Keyboard) used in the capsule, the ancestor to the screen and keyboard you are looking at now. Not only were they making a replica of the DSKY, they were also building replicas of the computer itself, and NASA even dug out the software to load in it!
