This one is a bit tricky. We know handful of things about it:
1.) Jesus died on the Friday during Passover. This is a set time on the Jewish calendar. However, the Jewish calendar doesn't directly correspond to the Gregorian calendar (what we use in the west), so the actual date varies by year.
2.) Jesus died at the age of 33. It appears that he was born somewhere in the range of 4-6 B.C., which means that it happened in either 27, 28, or 29 A.D. Chances are, it was closer to 27.
As such, the exact date is very difficult to state. This is why we generally just commemorate it on the Friday during Passover, whatever date that happens to be on a given year.
He was 33 and 1/2. He was baptized at 30 years of age and became the 'Christ' or the 'anointed one'. His preaching and miraculous works went on for 3 and 1/2 years, to Nisan 33 C.E. (or A.D.) when he was impaled on a stake and died at 33 and 1/2, ending his earthly ministry. He was resurrected within 3 days later.

I have seen many answers on this subject, but let me give you what I think, as no one truly knows. We know that the "AC" stands for "after Christ" while the "BC" stands for "before Christ. So the day before Jesus was born would have been "1BC",
and the day after He died would have been 1AC, just as today is 2009 AC. I personally believe He died at "0" years, because time was before Him, and while He walked on this earth, time sorta stopped, then upon His death, began again. This is just one person's thought. So my answer would be "0" year
There are various dates which have been proposed (feel free to add to the list):-

A deeper look into Scripture seems to point to another timeframe - close to the above.
In Ezra 7:8, the command to restore the temple of Jerusalem began in years 458-457 BC.
In Daniel 9:25, it states the Messiah will come 69 prophetic weeks from the restoring begins or in the year 27 AD. Scripture says Jesus was 30 years old then so He was born 4 BC if born in the beginning of that year and began His ministry in the middle of His 30th year (Jewish Calendar).
Jesus was cut off in the middle of His ministry - 3 1/2 years which covered 3 Passovers of preaching and being cruxified on the 4th Passover - day portion. This is the number of Passovers Sir Isaac newton calculated as well.
So the date He died was Passover, Wednesday, 25 April 31 AD, at the 9th hour - buried just before sunset which was the start of Thursday.
Being in the tomb for 3 full days and 3 full nights makes the Resurrection on
Saturday, 28th April 31 AD just before sunset to start Sunday - exactly as the only sign given of His Messiahship
When seen in the dark, early morning hours of Sunday, He instructed Mary not to touch Him as He had not ascended to the Father as the 'Wave Sheath' offering for all mankind as the then Feast of Unleavened Bread did with the first of the Spring harvest of barley. All perfectly timed and executed.
Jesus is believed to have been crucified on Good Friday, which traditionally falls on the Friday before Easter Sunday. The exact date varies each year based on the Gregorian calendar.
The date that Jesus is believed to have died based on evidence in The Bible is Friday, April 3, A.D. 33. It is also believed that he died at 3:00 PM.
