Coal, natural gas, and oil are all examples of fossil fuels. Coal was formed in the warm tropical swamps that were located near the equator. It must be mined, that is the only way to get to it. Natural gas was formed by bacteria partially decomposed the organic materials mixed with sediment. This released methane gas as a waste product. This gas makes up part of the natural gas we use for energy. Oil was formed in a similar way. Millions of years ago earth was covered with shallow seas. Rivers carried sediments into these seas. Organisms that died were also washed into the seas as part of the sediment. Scientists believe that oil formed from those decayed plants and animals.

Three factors that are important to consider when choosing a fuel for a car are the following: Economy, Running costs, and Driving preferences.
good luck
malleable,ductile,and it is silvery
For SO3, two equivalent resonance structures are sufficient to describe the bonding.
Three uses of alkanes are:used as organic solvents in labs when in liquid formused as a general anaestheticused as fuels because a large amount of energy is released when alkanes undergo combustion.
the 3 type fossil fuels are coal, oil and natural gas

Three positives about fossil fuels are:1. Fossil fuel power stations are relatively inexpensive to build and maintain.2. Fossil fuel power stations can produce large quantities of electricity.3. Fossil fuels are easily distributed.

Fossil fuels are bad for the enviorment because: 1.When you burn fossil fuels you give off pollution 2.That pollution goes into the atmosphere 3.The pollution that got into the atmosphere will add to the ozone layer and make it hotter on Earth These are reasons that fossil fuels are bad for the enviorment.

Ancient plant remains are buried and compacted until they form fossil fuels. There are 3 types of fossil fuels: Natural Gas Oil and Coal; the only solid fossil fuel, which is what you're looking for.

Coal, Oil and natural gas
1. using fossil fuels may be a contributor to global warming 2. mining fossil fuels is harmful to the environment 3. our supply of fossil fuels is limited therefore the price for them will go up as fossil fuels run out 4. sometime in the future society will have to transfer to an alternative energy supply, (i.e. renewable energy, nuclear, hydrogen) so using alternative fuels now can help the transition so we can be completely weaned off of fossil fuels once they run out. 5. buying oil from the Middle East is funding their terrorist activity 6. the pollution caused by burning fossil fuels obviously isn't good for people to breath and is causing many health problems
