KINGS CROSS STATIONand to some extent Platform 9 3/4There is a belief that Boadicea was buried between platforms 9 and 10 in King's Cross station in London, England. There is no evidence for this and it is probably a post World War II invention. And Harry Potter leaves for Hogwarts from platform 9 3/4 in Kings Cross station
First of all you should know this basic math.6 3/4= (6*4)+3=27 =27/4There are 27 quarters in 6 3/4Now please do us all a favor and go to school
-3x + 2y = -4There are lots of different ways to write it.Here are a few:-3x = -2y - 43x = 2y + 42y = 3x - 4-2y = -3x + 4x = 2y/3 + 4/3y = 3x/2 - 2
Let G = number of glazed donutsLet G + 2 = number of chocolate donuts (2 more chocolate than glazed)G + (G + 2) = 10G + G + 2 = 102G + 2 = 10Subtract 2 from each side of the equation2G = 8Divide each side of the equation by 2G = 4There are 4 glazed donuts and 6 chocolate donuts.
Depends: what's your water source? How fast is it flowing? How large of an opening do the bottles have? How many can you fill simultaneously? If we're talking a hundred bottles simultaneously at niagara falls, I'd say all 100 could be filled in 2 minutes; if we're talking standard soda bottles at a tap in the kitchen, depends on how fast you move & how strong you turn on your sink.
In the Bible there are many "symbols" that mean certain things, especially in the Books of Daniel and Revelation. For instance:Dragon: Satan or his agency, Rev. 12:7-9Serpent: Means Satan, Rev. 12:9, and 20:2Dove: Holy Spirit, Mark 1:10Ram: Medo-PerPersia, Daniel 8:20Colors: White means Purity, Rev. 12:9 and 20;2Blue: Law, Numbers 15:38-9Purple: Royalty, Mark 15:17 and Judges 8:26Red/Scarlet: Sin/corruption, Isaiah 1:18, Nahum 2:3, Revelation 17: 1-4There are many, many more words that have meanings in the Bible that mean something else than just what we know.If you want all the meanings of words in the Bible, let me know and I will send them to you. This is also found in the Book of Jeremiah - see here:Jeremiah 49:16New King James Version (NKJV)16 Your fierceness has deceived you,The pride of your heart,O you who dwell in the clefts of the rock,Who hold the height of the hill!Though you make your nest as high as the eagle,I will bring you down from there," says the Lord.[a]Footnotes:Jeremiah 49:16 Compare Obadiah 3, 4There are very high mountain peaks in Edom, some nearly 3x the size in Jerusalem. So the peoples presumed they were safe from invaders and became haughty. This led to their downfall.Other nations were being mustered by God to beseige Edom. In the end, Edom would be reduced from a proud people of mighty mountain fortresses to one that was small among the nations.
You need to jump through the rings (I assume you know what rings, if not, they are the large rings at the end of the level The Covenant that you pass while advancing on Truth with the flood.) in this order:4-6-5-4-5-3-4There are seven rings. Number 1 is the ring closest to the entrance, number seven is the ring closest to where Truth dies. You may need to jump through multiple times, Halo just randomly fails and doesn't count it sometimes, even if you do it perfectly. You may also need to wait until every single enemy has been defeated (including all the flood, once they turn against you). When you sucessfully jump through the rings in the correct order and Halo registers it, they will light up. Believe me, when it works, you're gonna know. Here is a guide (with pictures), in case any further info is needed: http://www.halo3planet.com/halo-3-skull-locations/iwhbyd-skull/
Polynomials of an even degree will always have either a minimum point, or a maximum point, or both.Polynomials of an odd degree may or may not have minima or maxima. If, for example, a polynomial function is simply a transformation of xn, there will be no turning points. For example:f(x) = x5 + 5x4 + 10x3 + 10x2 + 5x + 1 = (x+1)5f'(x) = 5(x+1)4There is only one solution for f'(x) = 0, which is of course x = -1. Since the range of f(x) includes all the real numbers, it follows that this solution represents a point of inflection, and not a turning point. If a polynomial of odd degree does have any turning points, it will have at least one minimum point. It cannot have maximum points only.* * * * *Polynomials of an odd degree cannot have a global maximum or minimum because if the leading coefficient is positive, it goes asymptotically from minus infinity to plus infinity and the other way around if the leading coefficient is negative.
When you look at a radical you have to think of it as to the power of a half.Ex.sqrt(3) = 3.5 = 31/2these all equal 1.732050808...sqrt(5+4) = (5+4)1/2remember to do what is inside the parenthesis first to follow the PEMDAS order of operations so this would equal 3. because 5+4 is 9 and sqrt of 9 is 3sqrt(3) + sqrt(7) = 31/2 + 71/2just apply the sqrt to each number separatly to get 4.3778sqrt(x) + sqrt(x) = x1/2 + x1/2 = 2x1/2you would just add these variables up and do nothing with the exponentsNow to subtract the radicals...Ex.sqrt(3)/2 - sqrt(5)/4 = 2[sqrt(3)]/4 - sqrt(5)/4 = (2*31/2 - 51/2)/4There really is no trick to subtracting radicals. You just haveto get a common denominator like you do on regular subtraction problems.
