Either way is Mom i not going to let him read that cause Bobby cusses in it i would suggest The Outsiders by S.E Hinton The question is why? What can an author like Stephen King provide that more age appropriate authors can't? If you would be interested in an excellent alternative, may I personally suggest the Pendragon series by D.J. Machale? They are excellent books that provide the same thrill as King.
