Most reptiles simply abandon their eggs to 'fate' once they're laid. Some species of lizards and snakes will stay close-by and actively discourage anything from disturbing the 'nest'. The majority of animals know instinctively to avoid contact with reptiles.
Hey there! OK well unlike the amphibian the reptile's eggs have a shell and membranes that protect the embryo and keep it from drying out:-). Hope you found this helpfull!
I am doing some homework on reptiles and i think that is the case.
the shell of the egg is supposed to protect the embryo.
the yolk
the developing embryo is nourished by yolk
It is to protect the embryo inside the egg.
It gives the embryo oxygen it needs to survive in the egg.
An egg yolk is the part of an egg which serves as the food source for the developing embryo inside.
When a hen lays a fertilized egg, there is no embryo inside. Embryo's only start to form once they are incubated.
Internal fertilization insures that neither the sperm or the egg is exposed to predators or the elements. Embryo develops to viability inside the womb for the duration of development also protecting the offspring from predators and the enviroment. Nutrition is not limited to a finite amount, (as in a discreet egg), and the environmental temperature is stable.
The yolk inside the egg.
i dont please answer it ???? i think i already help you thanks for visiting here , come again ,,
The developing embryo takes its nourishment from the yolk inside the egg. The embryo doesn't need air until it is ready to break out of its shell.
Yes that is possible, it has happened twice to me!
In birds and reptiles only .
The little black dot in the egg is the part that grows into an embryo.
